✓ Modern, good hotel run to a high standard with very good breakfast. Rooms large with excellent shower and bathroom. Parking for our motorcycles was in a secure underground car park. The hotel exceeded our needs as motorcyclists but it was one of the more expensive nights.
✗ Location a bit off the centre , we ended up taking a taxi for dinner as the in house restaurant was a bit formal and not representative of the local scene plus seemed very quiet. Taxi arrived very quickly and he picked us up afterwards, very efficient and easy.

✓ The hotel location was excellent just across from the train station. Outside temps were high and since the room had no air-conditioning, I did not sleep well. The breakfast was excellent thought the dining area was very warm and stuffy.

The nearest ski area is Garmisch-Classic. The start can be at the Hausberg. This will be 1,9km. You can get there by Zugspitz-Train or there is a bus shuttle which also starts at Zugspitz-Trainstation.
