Good but not sure I’d stay again

✓ We all loved the location, the shared areas, and the view from our room. We had a top floor apartment and it was essentially nice. The meals were very good.

✗ It was a real schlep to get to the room; there are several buildings and no elevators so if you have heavy luggage it’s difficult. There was mold in the bathtub and the bathroom setup in our apartment was a little weird. The front desk people aren’t always great or knowledgeable. They never cleaned the room, even after we asked specifically for cleaning and fresh towels and were promised that it would happen. We also were told we could call for a cab at any hour for our early train but at 5am with heavy luggage we were told there was no cab available and we would have to walk at least a half hour to the train station.

Exceptional

✓ The breakfast buffet was wonderful, lots of food options and delicious. The top floor two bedroom suite we stayed in was huge and very nice. The hotel was a charming old building with beautiful grounds.

✗ I didn't like that you had to pay to use the kitchen even though we had booked a suite

✓ Location is great, easy to town and to hiking/skiing it’s extremely practical! Also loves the sauna and spa sessions, a nice treat after doing intense sport!

✗ The beds were pretty uncomfortable; we stayed on the pull out and it was rock solid, so we didn’t sleep much. Would recommend updated beds and a better selection of pillows
