Marvellous
✓ Rooms were very clean and bed is comfortable. The environment of the property felt very much like being at home. The hosts were all very friendly and kind during our stay.

✓ Location was near to where I was visiting. Very comfy bed, good breakfast with tasty choices. Pauline and Joy looked after me as it was the first trip away on my own.

✓ The hosts Dave and Pauline were exceptional. They really made our stay. We came up for a wedding and told all our friends how amazing our hosts were. They were so flexible with our party of vegetarians and late check ins. The view from every window was majestic. The breakfast and hospitality was lovely. Pastries were amazing. The beds were comfortable and rooms really cosy. Our first time to Nothumberland from London and we'd be happy to drive 8 hours to stay again. Could not recommend this place more!

Sometimes you've got to make your point clear when after several attempts it obviously hasn't been. A sullen refusal to do as you were asked eventually led to an increase in decibels. Not the way we choose to welcome guests but it is our home.

Yes, when it's obvious the guest is not happy about the room and therefore likely to remain so for the duration of their sta, there seems no point in prolonging an unresolvable situation.
