✓ My schedule did not allow me o eat at the hotel but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Beansheaf which exceeded my expectations. Some adverse comments had been expressed in online reviews and I can only conclude that these were placed by competitors. My room was clean, warm and had everything that I needed.
✗ it was dark when I arrived and I did not notice the Hotel on my first drive past - no thanks to the satnav which had the hotel on the other side of the road and I spent some time wandering round a business site, a few cottages, one with a 'secret garden'(nice) and a barn or two.
