✓ location was good, and the private bathroom coming with the private room was a plus
✗ the Guy welcoming us as we arrived was drunk and didn’t want to give us the private room we booked for until he got a call from his boss (because I complained to him)

✓ The location was perfect and the staff were very kind and helpful! We had a private room, it was all it needed to be. Nothing fancy.
✗ There weren’t many other guests out and about and not really anywhere to hangout or relax at the hostel - not a social hostel for meeting people I would say.

Great place to stay, felt like family.
✓ This is a very good hostel at a fantastic price. The family who runs it are super nice and will help with whatever you need. It felt like I was part of their family. They even held a karaoke night at the request of some guests, which was so much fun! Plenty of chilling spaces including hammocks, so it was easy to meet other travelers. There is music from a club down the street, but the fans in the dorm drowned out the noise (but were quiet enough to sleep). I will return next time I'm in town.
✗ The kitchen cooking area is small, so if it was already in use, I came back later. It would be nice if drinking water was included, but it was cheap at only 10 cordobas per liter for a refill.

✓ it was a quiet hostel. the owner was very friendly and helpful. I kept extending my stay :) I’ll be staying there again if I go back to San Juan del sur

Buenas tardes. La habitacion con cama doble si tiene aire condicionada pero se paga $10 extra por noche. Todas las habitaciones tienen ventiladores.
