Nice place to stay

✓ 2 times I stayed in this hotel. Rooms are simple but clean. Perfect location (close to HBF and old city center), price/quality value, friendly staff. It's possible to leave your luggage after check-out

✓ I stayed in a single room. It was tiny but super clean and had everything necessary in it.

✗ It would be nice to have a kettle. It smelled of cigarettes in a lobby.

Great for short stays!

✓ It was perfect for a one-night stay. Staff was friendly and the room was easily accessible even late at night.

Exceptional

✓ I had a great stay at the Hotel Fackelmann. The hotel was easy to reach from the train station and the city center and the staff was exceptionally friendly

Will definitely stay there again next time

✓ Room is clean and cosy in general, all the basic things needed for a comfortable stay are provided. Windows of rooms face either inner yard or a quiet street with a low traffic, so it must be quiet anyway. Central train and bus stations, as well as a subway station (the one on the U2 line to/from Albrecht Durer Airport) are at a walking distance. Shops and cafés are also nearby. The owners go above and beyond to accommodate customer's needs. The atmosphere in the hotel is very homey. Earlier check-in and later check-out might be possible.

✗ (personally didn't find any problem with the points below, so just mention them for information) No common kitchen area (but breakasts are provided for a separate fee). Cleaning is on request only.

✓ Good value on the day I stayed, friendly staff. My room was out towards the back, so was very quiet.

✗ I wanted to extend, but the rate would have been almost double as much. The inflated price wouldn't have matched the quality of the room.
