Cozy room with a great view of the Zugspitze and amazing breakfast!

✓ The hotel is quite nice. The staff friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is wonderful complete with eggs cooked to order with bacon. A variety of cereals, breads, yogurts and plenty of hot coffee and tea. The location is a bit off the beaten track, but that lends to a quiet and serene stay. I mostly enjoy sitting on the balcony and staring right at the Zugzpitze. So amazing.

✗ As was said when I checked in... my room is "cozy". Yes it was. Very cozy. That isn't a bad thing because I was travelling alone and could get out of my own way. It is truly designed for a single traveler. It had everything you could want literally at your finger tip. It isn't that I disliked it, but having a little more space would have been a bit more comfortable. Not their fault. It is exactly the accommodations I booked.

✓ - quite comfortable - spacious for a single room in Europe - good breakfast

✗ - a bit far from the train station, 10mins walk - I left my face wash in the room and checked out. But I stored my luggage there so went back in the afternoon. But no one reminded me that I left my face wash. Not a very serious issue but can be improved.

Cute and comfortable stay, delicious breakfast.

✓ The host was very friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was delicious.

✗ My room window was right next to the outdoor patio, with benches that pushed up against the wall where my large window was. People hung out past quiet hours and were very loud. It would be nice if the host politely reminded visitors of the quiet hours.

✗ It was very hot even in the middle of September. I slept with opening the windows (No ari condition), so some insects came in the room. The sound of insect wings was so noizy around my ears.

✓ A nice hOTEL, only 10 mins from centre and other activities. Extremely friendly staff. Nice big room, with good facilities.

✗ The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable.

Good location

✓ Walking distance from city centers, supermarket and train station. Very nice garden, tasteful, consistent breakfast that can be taken inside but also outside.

✗ You need to ask for room clean-up, otherwise your trash bin will not be removed/towels will not be changed. I understand the concept, but at least the trash should be removed without asking for it. We had to ask for the tourist card allowing free transport in and around Garmish.

Exceptional

✓ Great staff (so helpful in recommending restaurants& bars, even though I cant soeak German very well at all!), nice room & balcony with a view of the mountains & a great breakfast selection. Oh, and motorbike parking available at the back of the hotel, out of sight of the main roads.

✗ Nothing - it was really nice!

The best hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen!

✓ The rooms are very spacious, well-designed, clean and comfortable. My room on the second floor had a small balcony with a partial view of the mountain. Each member of staff at reception was incredibly helpful, kind, humorous, and really took their time to make me feel at home. The location is excellent, being right in between the historic towns of both Garmisch and Partenkirchen and about 500 m from the train station. Wifi connection was also very strong.

✗ The breakfast was kind of strange how they packaged things like yogurt and nuts in small, individual glass jars. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is but it made me feel like I was in a shop and these items were for sale. As well, they have an à la carte menu, but they have these printed out for you to fill in your order, name, room number etc. Not really sure why these have to be printed out, it's a small boutique hotel :) These are not really complaints but struck me as a bit odd, especially for a so-called bio hotel. However, the breakfast was tasty!

Sehr geehrter Gast, es kommt darauf an, ob der Platz im Zimmer/auf dem Balkon dafür ausreicht. Alternativ gibt es noch die Möglichkeit es in unserem abschließbarem Radl-Schupf separat angeschlossen zu platzieren.

How often does the ski shuttle bus stop by the property?

The ski shuttel bus does not stop by our property but is 10 minutes walk away from our hotel. It goes every 20 minutes and brings you directly to the cable.
