✓ Good location, good wifi to work, there is a kitchen and AC!

✗ It gets noisy at night and the bathroom is in the middle of the common room

✗ It was clean, comfortable and the food was good. But not sure what it does so much better than other hostels to warrant prices that are double or more of other places

✓ Very good location, easy to book tours, good kitchen, bar and restaurant

✗ We were woken up at 11pm the last night because they couldn’t manage to do the maths for our payment. We then stood by the reception for ten minutes while they discussed between themselves if we paid the right amount or not. They came to the conclusion it was alright and sent us back to bed. Maybe things like that could be discussed before you wake up people!

It’s really a well thought through and run hostel. Loved it!

✓ Restaurant is really good, staff were so helpful and friendly, travel agency was excellent and offered tours at decent rates. Love that by 9:30ish the restaurant and social areas are closed, and people move to the night bar so the rest of the hostel is quiet so it’s possibly to get a decent night’s sleep for the early morning tours!

✗ There wasn’t or I couldn’t find a quiet place to make work calls. A pool would be awesome as even the lake is hot!

✓ Booking bus tickets for here around Guatemala offers good prices. Hot showers in communal shower area

Lovely place and friendly staff

✓ Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast available at the restaurant. There is a bar inside the hostel at an upper floor where you can stay in the evening without disturbing who is sleeping.

✗ The room was a bit dark as the lights are not strong enough. Cold shower but bearable and refreshing.

Good for low budget stays

✗ No curtains in dorm, not much space to organize stuff, not every bed has outlets to charge phone

Good hostel for socialising and eating, would recommend.

✓ Beautifully decorated, really good restaurant and ‘late bar’, lots going on - easy to organise trips/shuttles, staff were really friendly and helpful.

✗ Dorms very basic. Had a shower in room which was cold so most people used the communal ones but these are located in the restaurant area! Housekeeping mainly changed tissue bin in bathroom and stripped bedding - no further cleaning in dorms.
