✓ Very good location, comfy and cool style, great rooftop, especially at night. Showers are good.

✗ If I see a total price in booking and I still have to pay more on arrival with the explanation 'fee for booking', I feel overcharged. A total price is a total price and should match for both sides. It's very very hot and they turned off the AC when I was alone in the dorm... but I paid the price for a room with AC. So insist on AC, when you paid for it!

✓ The hostel is in a really good location on the island. The kitchen was decent. Staff were super friendly and keen for a chat. The atmosphere of this hostel was very good, it was busy with many guests so it was quite easy to strike up a conversation. Beds were comfortable, the small privacy curtains were a nice touch as were the small lockers for valuables. The lounge area upstairs was very cosy with ample space to hang out.

✗ The downstairs rooms are not as ideal as they have permanently wet floors either from rain or from being cleaned. Tile floors but no floor mats anywhere so it gets very slippery. Staff would hide the AC remotes and set them to absurdly cold temperatures overnight so everybody would wake up feeling cold, and the staff were not on-site to remedy this issue.

✓ Cute little hostel right by the water in beautiful Flores. Comfy beds, decent kitchen, a really nice terrace with hammocks and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Especially Erick who speaks excellent English and helped me with some post sent from the UK. Definitely recommend this hostel.

✗ Only 2 fans as air conditioning so room was really hot. There was no hot water which was fine for the shower as it was boiling, but a bit grim when washing up.

✓ Good proximity to where all of the tours pick you up/drop you off. Which is helpful since most of them have a very early start time. Cute rooftop and outdoor area.

✗ The dorm I stayed in was on the ground level in the front right by the door and the alley way. Which is not locked or closed really except for at night. So I didn't feel the most secure.

Fabulous

✓ Staff were super friendly and helpful. The place is nice, and conveniently close to where all the shuttles run from. They have drinking water available, and let me do my laundry in a wash sink. They even have clotheslines on the terrace!

✗ They wanted a lot for the shuttle, I shopped around and got a much better price.
