✓ Great staff, fabulous beach, great pools, amazing views... Overall it's a fantastic place to rest

✗ The dinner selection, it is limited to regional food and also the variety is not so extended

World class hotel in the heart of Mactan

✓ Everything! The hotel looks new and amenities are top notch. It looks prettier than in the pictures and the beach is fantastic! Most of all, the hotel/lounge and resto staff are world class!

✓ Fair choices for breakfast. Near the airport. New facility. Cool key bands to access the rooms but possible to get lost.

✗ Only 2 bottles of water allocation per room. Everything is with a charge even the complimentary coffee and tea. They could set up water dispensers per floor. Service takes quite some time. There were a couple of times we need to followup on our requests.

✓ This resort is new and beautiful, no question about it. The pools, the private beach, the Spa, the restaurant and cafe... everything you expect from a resort in that price range. The food was the best I had in the Philippines, I enjoyed some relax on the beach and an excellent massage. The room is extremely comfortable. As an Italian, I loved having my own espresso machine in the room. Breakfast has plenty of choice.

✗ There are unfortunately many flaws. There is a staggering number of staff, but it doesn't translate into quality service. When I arrived after 17:00 (check in is as of 15:00, if I remember well) somehow my room was not ready and I had to wait 30 minutes after a rather tiring ferry transfer and car trip. I understand the resort was packed for the weekend, but that cannot happen in a resort in that price range. The first night, I had a very nice meal in the restaurant, but I was appalled when I was told that most items on the menu were for 2-3 people so my choice, as I was alone, was very, very limited. The second night was mother's day, so many local families came to treat their mothers. Given the special event, the dinner was a rather expensive buffet that night, but somehow nobody thought of informing guests about that--once again, in a resort like that you expect a bit more care. Lastly, they don't have a dive shop, which is a pity--maybe they will add one in the future?

✓ The Lounge is a top-notch and creative cocktail bar. The in-house reef is wonderful for swimming and snorkeling. The Kitchen has many local foods during breakfast hours. The staff is friendly and hospitable. The resort is beautifully decorated. The sunrise views are unmatched. The price and quality for my 90-minute hilot massage was very reasonable. Check-in and check-out process was efficient.

✗ With many of the facilities not yet open and with its North Reef infinity pool undergoing "treatmemt" during my stay, I don't feel I received value for my money.
