Nice hotel in a nice area and a short walk from Centraal station and city amenities

✓ comfy large beds, large quiet room, good breakfast, lovely views of AMS, helpful and kind staff, easy and quick to check in and out and get an invoice for business travel

✗ - I stayed until 11am checkout cut off time before going to airport but the cleaners knocked on my door a few times to see if anyone was in which made me feel I should leave - Lifts take a while - The toilet, the room door spy hole and towel rail are all weirdly high up - I'm 5'6" and still had to jump to hang my towel up! - Gym is good but down some hallways and through a bunch of double doors at what feels like the back or basement of the hotel and there's no cameras in there so as a solo woman traveller I felt nervous the entire time using it. - no chain or manual lock on the door - I think there was a digital version of this but didn't understand the instructions

What out for the mice…!

✓ Great location and room very good size with everything you need.

✗ The mice! Sat in the bar and watched numerous mice come and go looking for scraps of food. When reported to staff they seemed to find it amusing. Said they have a big problem with mice!!!!

I’d prob not stay here again as the location is laborious to get to and taxis are expensive. Plus there was no hot break
