✓ Well everything was perfect, the hotel is super clean, staffs are super friendly and helpful
✗ In order to use the hotel facility like swimming pool, gym or sauna, which was not included in your rate and you have to pay 25€ extra, I found that’s a bit odd but otherwise it’s a great hotel.

I grab bar in the shower and an explanation of the light switches would have made it perfecf

✗ The light switches were a problem. We never could figure out just how they worked. The shower was scary. We are Seniors and were afraid. The floor was slippery and there was nothing to hold onto. The hotel itself was great

✓ Great location, just outside the historical area, so no need to carry your luggage through the thousand steps of Matera's Sassi. Nice spa area, very large and comfortable bed. Complimentary water (still and sparkling), tea and Nespresso coffee in the room. Great breakfast with both sweet and savory options. Car park just under the hotel (literally), you can leave you car outside the hotel and their staff will park it for you, so you don't have to search for space (we were staying for a long holiday weekend and it was always almost full, as Matera was full of tourists).
✗ Breakfast was great but scrambled eggs were so runny that we could barely put them on the plate.
