✗ No one was available upon arrival at the confirmed afternoon arrival time. Reception tried to charge my credit card and took cash. No receipt was provided. I had to have my bank stop payment on debit.

It was adequate.

✓ Great location if you don’t want to be in the center - Especially during important festivities (like San Fermin). There is no shortage of good bars and good restaurants in the area. The room was very clean, well cared for and quite comfortable in size, especially for a solo traveller.

✗ I was there during a heat wave and the central air conditioning is shut off at 10 pm at night. The only choice was to sleep with the windows open. That’s fine because it’s much cooler at night. However, I was caught by surprise, and was not able to have a good night’s sleep until I had gotten proper mosquito repellent and earplugs - because the Pension is located near a hospital and you hear ambulances the whole night through.

Perfect if you come with a car

✓ - safe parking in the street nearby, the area in general felt safe - not too far from the old town (25-minute walk) - good communication with the host - very clean room and bathroom - modern bathroom - comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the street - no noises - COVID precautions taken

✗ - the bathroom sink was a bit small to wash my face or pour a glass of water (and I'm a very short person)

✗ -Walls and doors are really thin and you hear all the noise -The room was really small. -Bed size was really short. Not suitable for people longer than 1.80
