Resourceful stay in nature

✓ Well equipped room. Ceiling fan. Attention put into detail and decoration. In the middle of nature, with lake access. Beautiful common areas. Good kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff. Money exchange (dollars/quetzales). Peaceful. Wonderful massage lady.

✗ A little far from town but you know that. Cold shower at times (most of the time refreshing with these temperatures)

✓ The stay at Alice was really nice - lovely garden and beautiful, clean dorms. The outdoor shower is a dream and you feel so close to the jungle around you. The lake for a swim is only a 5min walk away. Also the manager Dulce took great care of all guests - can highly recommend Alice for staying in El Remate!

✓ Best bathroom I've had in Guatemala and delicious food at the restaurant

✗ The mood is very French ahah so I think to socialise just know that the place might have plenty of frenchies who will stay together

✓ Shower is great and place is super chill. The place is clean and quiet. They have a few friendly dogs and cat.

✗ No kitchen and you need to buy hot water even for cup noodles. Location is on a small hill and need some work if you have luggage.

✓ Beautiful spot in El Remate that has been crafted with care, and still growing. Nature and wildlife around with some nice places to relax in hammocks.

You can go to el remate, from the border Guatemala Belice, and from there, or we can arrange a taxi or a bus!

hello, from flores just take a bus from station of santa elena flores,30 minutes 25 quetzales.

How can I get to the closest beach from the property?

You can reach the lake in a 5 minute walk to our private dock on the lake.
