Gorgeous, clean, amazing service

✓ I stayed with a group of four friends looking to relax, explore and have fun. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the staff provided excellent service and help booking activities, etc. We got particularly fantastic service from Alfredo who was friendly and gave great recommendations. We will definitely coming back!

✗ Some times people came for 1 day and they leave there bags every where and they take all the place "hamaca" with their bags and you don't have space to seat and they enter all wet where they are not suppose to.

Go for a king room

✓ Really nice common areas, lots of varied seating, equipment to use and amazing views. The food tasted nice and portions were good, service was great and all the staff were really helpful and patient in explaining things in simple Spanish or using a translation app to be sure I understood. They really made my stay by being so approachable and friendly. You should definitely read the details of the property before staying to see if it suits you as it is lakeside and in nature, so bugs etc. Saw some cool lizards and the pets are great to have around. Despite not being happy with the room I'd definitely stay again in a different one.

✗ Definitely go for king room or above. I stayed in a standard room and declined an upgrade option on booking.com because I thought my own entrance would be a more isolated/quiet location. That didn't work out as the division of the cabin that makes up rooms 1 and 2 means you can hear absolutely everything they do next door. It's very old and dilapidated, even in comparing the bathroom to the shared one near the bar, this one seemed 20 years older than the other. I understood this was an eco lodge and insects etc were to be expected. That said, there was a build up of dead flies on top of the bed, and crushed into the curtain folds in a thick line, that could easily have been quickly addressed to make the room cleaner. There was a water pot in the room which was nice but as other things had been neglected I wasn't sure how long the water had been there so didn't drink it. The sheets had been washed but were very badly stained. It's the cheapest option, and other facilities/meals made the price fair enough, but I do wish someone had cleaned the dead flies!!
