Trethorne Hotel and Golf Resort is situated 1 minute from the A30 on the junction A395 (North Cornwall Road). We offer a superb selection of superior and standard rooms and great facilities for families on site to help you relax and enjoy your stay.

✓ Good price, nice if you like golf
✗ Difficult to get to on public transport but obviously not the hotel’s problem.
✓ Spacious, independent hotel at a nice golf course/club house. There was a wedding on, but the staff coped well with other orders/food & drink to make the stay enjoyable. My room was in a separate building so was nice and quiet. Easy parking and access from main A30 road Ito Cornwall. Great breakfast included.
✗ Rooms were a bit of a walk from the restaurant/club house, which was unlit and very dark out in the countryside later in the evening. Not a major problem.
✓ Breakfast was good.
✗ Noise from the road through the night
✓ basic but very clean and comfortable
✓ Staff were helpful and friendly.
✗ Some parts are dated and looked uncared for.
✓ The bed was huge as was the room…really comfortable. The food was great and the staff were lovely.
✗ My room was right next door to the road…when booking, I hadn’t realised that this might happen as I thought I’d be nearer the main building. It was a really busy main road and even the double glazing didn’t really help with the road noise. Such a pity as everything else was great.
✓ Food , beds comfortable, shower
✗ Separate cottage wasn’t aware of this before arrival wouldn’t have booked if I had known. No exterior lock on cottage so open for anyone to come to bedroom door in night . Didn’t feel safe
✓ Very comfy bed. Nice big clean room
✗ You could hear talking, tv, shower and walking about from the room upstairs
