Hostal Hilton

Simple room, good for one night stay.

✓ A simple room with a good bed and a hard mattress (but not too hard) that was very comfortable to sleep on. A sink in the room was great.

✗ There was a construction work going on right outside of my window, so an afternoon siesta was not an option. Luckily they did not start too early in the morning. It is very far from the center. No option to heat up some food or a cup of water, no fridge.

✗ Smell of cigarettes is a bad thing if you are non-smoker. Can be very loud if your room is by the street like mine was, but I sleep like a stone anyway.

Lovely host and good location

✓ The second room was light and spacious with a bathroom and hot shower. Conveniently located on the bus 01 route to the old town. Also a lovely walk along the river. Nice host who gave me the use of a connector for my phone.

✗ The first room was awful. Dark and window looking right onto a construction site.

✓ I got a hair dryer from the lady.

✗ We had some inconvenience during our stay. Unfortunately our room was dark and the floor was dirty. Furthermore, not only in the hostel, but also in the room, there was a smell of cigarettes. The bathroom wasn't clean either.

Fabulous

✓ The man that greeted me was very helpful and friendly, hot water was almost instantly (I didn't have to wait for a long time). For a 1 night stay it was almost perfect.

✗ There was a peculiar essence in the room, like if someone was smoking near me

✗ the walls are like paper, you hear all the noise of the other rooms owner and staff doing a lot of noise at 8 and 9 am. not very clean pretty old place

Exceptional

✓ Simple room with all you need, walkable to the city center of Burgos (like 2-3 kilometres). Share bathroom.
