Adequate place to stay

✓ The room, though small was clean, comfortable and functional. It is swelteringly hot in summer and although you can open the window (I did) you are then subjected to loud city noises until well past 2:00 am. The bathrooms are clean and functional.

✗ They don’t open check-in until 4:00 pm (in fairness, this is disclosed in the reservation process). For those on the Camino this is a ridiculously late check in. The latest I have found on any other accommodation along the Camino is 2:00 pm. And most places are 12:30 or 1:00. If you are on the Camino be prepared to wait, as the doors are not even open before 4:00. And the front desk service, though efficient once they do open, is not particularly friendly or welcoming. This is an adequate place to stay, but all in all I think there are probably many better options for pilgrims in Burgos.
