Love the location and the peacefulness.

✓ The location so close to the beach. The cabin style rooms. The jacuzzi bath tub. Nice big rooms with ceiling fan was nice.

✗ Stairs going up to all rooms. Did not allow door dash to deliver to rooms. The refrigerator made a popping noise all night and I did not get a restful sleep.

Great location, room only okay

✓ That it was across the street from the Asilomar grounds and beach. The big tub in the bathroom. Microwave and fridge.

✗ There was no desk to place personal items on. I had a laptop and had some work to do, so the lack of a desk and sufficient outlets made it difficult. Instead there were two chairs and a very small round table. That would have been fine, if the chairs were actually comfortable to sit in and relax. But the chairs were essentially very hard dining room chairs. The spa tub was great, but it leaked and the floor was flooded when I got out. Unfortunately the wifi did not work either as the router system was not strong enough to provide functioning wifi in the room. When I arrived at 4pm the room was not ready and I was not able to check in. That was unfortunate as I had just returned from a camping trip and needed to shower. However, they allowed for a late check out. The value for the room was okay only, because there was a discount for last minute booking. It would not have been okay at full price.
