Overlooking the deep blue bay of Agia Pelagia, Peninsula Resort & Spa sits amidst lush plantations and is surrounded by 2 beaches. Two large pools, 2 children’s pools and 2 tennis courts are featured.

✓ It was excellent! The food was great and had so much variety. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The facilities were also excellent
✗ The wifi was pretty bad
✓ All inclusive so it made it easy to just stay on resort and enjoy
✗ Further away from the shopping and remote. Need a car rental if u want to go anywhere
✓ The property was amazing with lots of options to chose from in terms of activities. There is a private beach with a lovely beach bar and also two outside pools, both with their own bars/restaurants. Everything was clean and tidy, including the rooms. I totally recommend booking a room with sea view as the views are stunning! Shoutout to the animation team! Although they mainly talk French, they were very friendly, making guests feel as part of “the family”. They organised both day and evening activities suitable for all ages and they were particularly careful towards kids, including them in their activities. Guests can always approach them and talk English. The resort staff was also very friendly and helpful. We asked for a late check out and we were offered another room for our last day which we were able to keep until our departure time, which was at 18:00. This was free of charge and greatly appreciated as we had very late flights. Please note there is a bus leaving from the resort to Heraklion and the other way around. One must pay only €3.5 for the bus ticket and the bus departs from the resort on a daily basis at specific times. Simply ask at the reception and they will provide you with the schedule. Don’t book cabs to leave the resort as the price is €45 for a half an hour trip.
✗ I was somewhat disappointed about the fact that sea food wasn’t really offered. But the food was great with lots of options to chose from.
✓ Wonderful!
✗ Everything was perfect, clean tasty quiet and comfortable!
✓ Incredible private beach, amazing views, very nice pool side activities
✓ Views are insane and it takes your breath away daily. The beach pad is stunning and the boys loved snorkelling and jumping off the edge.
✗ Salt water pool (very salty) but the main pool was lovely.
✓ The friendly service
✗ Closing hours for meals and the taxi services
✓ Although the hotel is around 30 minutes away from the centre. There is a bus every 2 hours, the first at 9.30am which leaves outside the hotel. That definitely was a bonus, and only 3.50 euros! Liked the choice of sun lounge areas. Views to the sea were surreal.
✗ For 2 nights there was a private party within the grounds, that went on until 1.30am in the morning. It was SO loud. I was in room 720. That wasn't great.
