Improvements are imperative to align the property with its advertised standards

✗ Regarding my son's recent stay at Sunday Life in Agia Pelagia from September 13th to September 19th, it was a complete disappointment! Due to various issues with the accommodation and the need for significant improvements to align with the property's advertised amenities and quality standards, my son sought alternative lodging at Diana Apartments, prompting him to check out just one day after arrival. The foremost concern was that the property did not live up to the photos and descriptions provided on Booking.com, creating a sense of unease. Additionally, the property's location needed to be more represented. The "short walk to the beach" highlighted in the property description was a challenging 15-minute downhill walk with an equally steep and strenuous return. Notably, this property is only convenient if one has access to a vehicle. Even then, the abundance of steps leading to the apartments makes it highly challenging for individuals with limited mobility. Essential amenities such as supermarkets and restaurants are only reachable by car. Contrary to the depiction in Booking.com pictures, the on-site restaurant is closed. Upon arrival, my son observed that the gentleman at the reception desk was seated with a shisha pipe, raising concerns about the professionalism of the staff. Although no concrete evidence indicated its use, such an item on the reception desk was unsettling. Moreover, the air conditioning in his room was inoperable, forcing him to open the windows, which regrettably resulted in mosquito-related issues during his stay. Despite being advertised as a non-smoking room, the accommodation had a pervasive cigarette odour, proving quite unpleasant. Another crucial missing amenity was a safe to secure his travel documents during the day. Furthermore, the pool was in dire need of proper maintenance, with floating debris such as bags, bugs, and leaves compromising its cleanliness and hygiene.

✗ The drive to this hotel is treacherous. It appeared we were the only guests. There was a dining room and kitchen but it is closed. Our first room smelled very musty and had sliding doors onto a balcony that did not lock. It appeared someone was in the room next to us - there were shirts and empty water bottles lying on the floor of their balcony, which was next to ours. There was no privacy. There was no hot water. So I messaged the property on Booking.com to complain. The manager came down and said his brother had called him about our complaint. We thought we were messaging the manager! He was hostile to us, but we were moved to a second room. It also smelled musty. There was still no hot water. My husband and I had to sleep in twin beds. All the beds were uncomfortable. There were no blankets and it was cool that evening. I asked the assistant if there were any extra blankets and he pretended not to understand. We paid for two nights but left the next morning, so we lost money.

✓ You can offer me all the Tea in China, but when on holiday I look forward to the morning breakfast in a hotel. This hotel had no breakfast this time. For that reason I for the moment have no intension of recommending the Sunday Life hotel. Nor could I pay for a decent breakfast in the village this has other reasons the place was filled with English drunkards it seemed.
