Great as a nice stay and a base for skiing, not great as a space to live in.

✓ The look of the property was excellent, the location and views were really nice. It was quiet to sleep in and always warm despite the significant cold outside. I liked the design of the room (in terms of style), it had plenty of storage space. Generous size TV. Breakfast was also for the most part very nice.

✗ The room we had rented was significantly smaller then all the rest of the rooms in the property, as it was taken up by elevator shape. Instead of being a square it was all crammed into an L-shape. I don’t believe this was made clear to me at booking, and if I had have known I would have selected a different room. The unfortunate truth being that the room was too small for 2 people to use as anything other then a base for sleep and hygiene, usually I wouldn’t mind this but the room wasn’t any cheaper then a larger one. And if like me you spent all day skiing, sometimes you appreciate being able to have a bit of space to relax in for an hour or so before moving out for the evening. Breakfast wise for the most part it was very good, nice range of food and easy to deal with seating/staff arrangements. One day there wasn’t any bowls so I had to have different food, and on one of the days the scrambled eggs were terrible, but on most of the days it was very good. Cost wise we had a strange situation where we got charged for taxis we’d apparently booked (no taxis were booked all week) so either things are being added to our room or the hotel is adding bits on as it pleases. Either way, check your bills.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good food and very well localized.

✓ The breakfast was great. The hotel also offers many nice to have, like transportation around the city, a free spa before 5 pm, etc. The city skibus has a stop in the hotel parking lot, so getting to the resort was excellent and straightforward.

✗ We arrived pretty late and were instructed by the staff to retrieve the door cards from a lockbox. The cards were not working, and it took us more than an hour to get ahold of the team to help us. Luckily, I decided to try ringing the emergency phone number one last time when someone picked up and helped us in. The staff was also very sorry about what happened and more than made it up for it!

Fabulous

✓ Lovely receptionist, comfy beds, amazing restaurant with the greatest attentive waitress, also very decent breakfast buffet.

✗ The wellness is in another hotel down the street, had difficulties with communication there.
