Sporthotel Arabba

Nice large hotel with lush public spaces.

✓ The public spaces are beautiful. Location also good.

✗ I would have preferred not to have dinner included in the price as I usually only want the salad buffet. V few choices on menu if you are vegetarian and didn’t see any if you are vegan but maybe they could make something special. I just don’t eat that much in the evenings. Bar staff lacking in evening when dinner going on.

Excellent ski hotel, would stay again

✓ - rooms were spacious and well appointed - really marvellous bar and lounge area. the Sommelier/Chief mixologist was an absolute star for our entire stay. -Half board was well managed (note: the best dishes were the local dishes that used local produce). - every staff member we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Most spoke English which we really appreciated.

✗ - the Jacuzzi was never hot enough to use after skiing to soothe muscles.

Excellent well aged classic old style sport hotel

✓ A gem. Very friendly, ambitious and helpful staff. Dinner was excellent with massive buffet and choices from menu. Some nights with theme menus. Wine cellar exceptional. Formerly Guide Michelin rated. Arabba itself w very limited nightlife, basically just hotel bars, so good that your own hotel can offer a very nice and spacey bar area w some live music, plus a large soft lounge w fireplace. Spa very good. Ski locker room worked well. Location w short walk to two main lifts (entering Sella Ronda or Marmolada). Basically a hundred metres off the centre of Arabba, so quiet but close.

✗ Maybe this hotel is attractive for representation and larger groups. We were exposed to two groups, and it was not perfect for others since spa and dining hall got swamped when all came in at the same time.

ABOVE EXPECTATIONS. perfect

✓ First time in Dolomites and I wasn’t sure where to stay, so many towns around and options. I found this hotel and I booked two nights without analyzing too much. Thanks to my intuition I ended up in this amazing hotel. Interior design is outstanding, with many cozy and elegant spaces. The bar area is incredible and the place to hang out. There’s a lady in charge of the bar that gives the whole place an elegante vibe with her charme. All the staff is extremely polite and helpful. The restaurant is extraordinary with delicate options. I extended my stay here so I ended up in two different rooms. Both are really comfortable with king size beds and balconies overlooking the town. They offer sauna and spa area. In a nutshell, this hotel meets all the requirements that somebody would ever need, with an upscale, elegant yet low key vibe. Great option in the area. We are talking 5 star service and accommodation here.

Great hotel with amazing staff/service. Visited in Summer and the nights were hot with no AC/fan.

✗ No ACs or fans in the rooms, and in Summer it can get quite hot. Spa timings could be extended.

A very enjoyable stay!

✓ Very good location , even better if located across the road where ski in &ski out would be possible. Excellent breakfast and dinner choices. Amazing starter buffet at dinners. Friendly staff. Reception staff extremely helpful. One person in our group was injured half way through holiday, they provided transport to help her get to the local pharmacy and provided unlimited supply of ice packs! We had a bit of problem with our taxi transfer leaving the hotel and the reception staff were very helpful assisting us contact the transfer company to sort it out. My daughter joined us for the second week, her room being near to us and joining our table were organized seamlessly by the hotel staff.

✗ The relaxation area in sauna could get quite noisy if there are children in the pool area. Perhaps a door separating the two areas may provide a more peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are overall very comfortable but the mattresses could be firmer. The bedside lights are in a position where you could quite easily hit your head.

Luxurious stay for good skiers.

✓ I loved the location of the property and the food on offer - all the staff except one were exceptional and the location for ski in ski out was brilliant.

✗ I just had problems with the owner/manager, I felt his customer focus was lacking and his initial response to the one problem I had was poor. the only other issue I felt uncomfortable with was naked guests in full sight of children playing in the pool.
