Hotel Scilla

Very nice place and good value

✓ Ample free parking. Safe neighborhood. Not central but still close to shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful although with limited English.

✗ The room did not have a large enough table to eat or work at comfortably and the only electrical outlet was too far away from the table to be of any use.

This is a family run business and puts a premium on customer service and customer satisfaction.

✓ The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit and pastry every morning. The staff constantly refreshed the breakfast so everyone got served not just the early risers.

✓ I absolutely loved my stay at the Hotel Scilla. It felt like home the minute I was greeted by Nicoletta. You could feel the passion the family has for the business and their customers. I ended up booking for 3 more days. Service was beyond exceptional. I highly recommend this gem in the beautiful place called Scilla. I was helped every step of the way. From restaurant recommendations to boat tours. Above and beyond. Loved it. Grazie Mille

Great staff, comfortable, but has more potential

✓ Great staff. Clean room, good size, very comfortable bed and a nice terrace. Location fine if you don’t mind a long walk down to the beach.

✗ It is quite “traditional “, it could do with a little modernisation, nothing seemed to match ! But some might find that cute.

✓ Good breakfast, nice rooms. Kind staff will drive to and from the station (I advice you take them up on the offer as the hotel is at the very top of the town. Google says 15 minutes, but it s 15 minutes of endless stairs).

✗ Location at the top of the village means a bit of hassle to go down to the beach, restaurants, the "Little Venice". Specially when the lift that goes up the hill seems broken.
