Fantastic location; nice business hotel; some room for improvements

✓ Amazing location, right at the Wanhua train station and within a short walking distance from Longshan (Temple, MRT and night markets). The newly renovated rooms look great. The older ones are still pretty nice. If you're okay with a little walk, there's plenty of food near Longshan Temple.

✗ Toilet got blocked. They fixed it quickly, but the toilet had been contaminated (as it got blocked and overflowed right after use). I asked to be moved to a new room; they said no - cause the hotel was fully booked. I asked for the toilet to be cleaned right away; again, they said no because they didn't have housekeeping staff available. After a lot of back and forth, they managed to find me another (much older-looking) room. The lift sometimes takes for ever, especially when there's a tour group. The gym doesn't have weights - or, really, anything other than cardio machines. There's no proper desk in my room. There's only a small side-table and I had to work on the sofa using that little side table. To be fair, it was unexpectedly rather comfortable. Room was kinda small and didn't have the sort of facilities you'd expect at a five-start hotel - like a sauna or a proper gym.

✓ Room was a bit small for a 3 bedder, price for that location I guess is ok, because its very central and easy to get anywhere. The breakfast was ok, good spread of things to choose from, the service crew were friendly and helpful . The housekeeping staff were cheery and honest. I liked the mountain view from our windows though. The hotel staff were efficient and helpful. The housekeeping service also efficient when I asked for extra towels and water. They brought it me quickly. Checkin and out were smooth and fast.

✗ I didnt expect the hotel to be so busy with lots of customers coming and going. As a result, even though its a relatively new hotel, some items were not well kept. The windows are dirty, and had stains on it, that we could not wipe away. The kettle area was damaged because of the heat and the hotel looked "tired" because of all these stains.

✓ Location is good for those travelling out of Taipei, but not so convenient if travel within Taipei, need to walk around 10 min to another station to catch train within Taipei City.
