Good place, had a great shower, amazing location

✗ We didn’t have a balcony as it showed on the photos of the room and that was a shame.

A good hotel in a central location

✓ Property is in a great location for access to restaurants, nightlife, etc. A small bakery is across the square (next to the twin hotel, Hotel Opera) and serves great coffee, bread, pastries, and cakes. The view of the church from the room is magical. The availability of off-street parking (again, next to Hotel Opera) makes this especially convenient.

✗ There is some noise in the room. The church service on Sunday is broadcast on a PA system and the church bells start early and can be heard regularly. Neither of these things bother me; in fact, it adds to the special ambience of the room. However, the nightclub that played music until 1.30 am on Sunday morning was very annoying; it wasn’t even that near to the hotel and so I suspect lots of people suffer this irrespective of which Larnaca hotel they choose. The whole building suffers from poor air circulation. The room was okay but the communal areas were smelly. There is a damp smell inside the hotel communal area and, outside the hotel as you enter the building, there is the smell of rubbish. A sign on the door reminds you to keep the door closed but most times I found the door propped open, which helped circulate some air in the building. Although the room was clean the kitchen equipment (e.g. cutlery) were filthy and needed to be washed before use. There are also some scratches on furniture and walls that undermine your confidence in the cleanliness of the room. However the linens were all very clean, and the room appeared to be serviced every day. A few final remarks about things which could be improved. The quality of toilet paper is miserable. The bottles of Prija shower gel and hand soap would be a nice touch but I suspect they have been refilled; confidentially I had a bar of Prija soap with me from another hotel and the scent was completely different. In other reviews I read that coffee and cake is available in reception at the twin hotel (Hotel Opera) but I did not notice any on the couple of times I visited the hotel reception.

✗ This apartment showed up for the filter for two rooms, which led me to believe that there were two separate rooms, which was not the case. Be mindful that pictures show possible room options, only one of which you will receive

It was pleasant. 10 points for location, it was bang on opposite to the church, very clean with all basic amenities.

✗ shower cabin was leaking, and water was all over the floor. I hope staff will fix it soon. at the begging we didn’t find the reception, because it is in another hotel near - Opera. nobody said it to us before arriving, and we was confused how to check in.
