Excellent but pricy hotel for business trips directly at the beach with lovely staff
✓ this is my second stay at Ciao Stelio and I am surprised and fascinated they really improved especially in terms of staff . Absolutely every staff member really kind and friendly helpful and adorable. The sea side rooms with balcony (4th floor) have been excellent, especially if you are travelling alone and for business. During my fist stay in March, AC didn't work This time perfectly. Nice but still small rooms for a couple (around 25m2). Excellent view to the beach, directly across the street. The beach is equipped with sun umbrellas as well as sun loungers. Clear water, mostly calm beach. Hotel provides special black towels at reception desk. Hotel staff immediately recognised it has been my second stay. I was offered a welcome drink as well as two small bottles of wine and some biscuits in the room ! Excellent and huge breakfast buffet, everything you would expect including national specialties. Staff has improved. As you are not able to get coffee / tea yourself, you need to ask restaurant staff. Last time, it took forever to get something to drink, this time as soon as you are entering the restaurant, they ask and serve immediately. Again, all staff at all time very friendly and helpful. Close to the airport (ca. 5 min taxi ride). Not too far to the center (15min walk along the beach).
✗ The advantage being close to the airport causes the disadvantage aircrafts are approaching directly in front of the hotel from seaside. In summer season you would see different aircrafts approaching every 10-15min. This is not really noisy but bothersome. In the room I am still missing a power outlet in the bathroom although you will find a lot of them aside the bed and on the opposite wall. As the beach view rooms are all towards the sunny side, you will awake with sunrise early in the morning as the curtain doesn't cover correctly the windows. Shutters would be preferable. Pricy hotel in comparison to surrounding ones. On the other hand, if you would want to get back, they offer attractive rates if you would book directly. (outside booking.com). Although elevated prices no airport shuttle included and available.

✓ The staff were exceptional. Paula and her colleagues made us feel extremely welcomed. She deserves a raise for her excellent customer service!! Breakfast was delicious and the hotel was gorgeous.

✓ Private parking in the back, location right on the beach and proximity to the airport was perfect, the room itself was tidy and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally kind. Absolutely wish I stayed here for 5+ nights instead of the place I was at
✗ No complaints but just be careful of the lack of space in the parking lot, trying to back out of there to leave in the morning was difficult.

Dear Guest, The noise level from the building next-door is very low. We strictly do not accommodate our guests to the left side of our building in order to fully avoid any possible noise/disruption. WI-Fi is working perfectly throughout the Hotel.
