Absolute Peace

✓ This is THE place to stay in Ouronopoli! The landlady couldn’t have been nicer, and I was fortunate to be able to occupy the room early. The room was delightful—simple, charming, and decorated cheerfully. The shower, bed, and all other facilities were excellent. I especially appreciated the tea and coffee-making facilities, which I enjoyed before sitting out on the balcony with a lovely view of the sea. The room was dead quiet, despite its proximity to terrific waterfront restaurants just around the corner. And as a pilgrim entering Mt. Athos the following morning, I had to walk about twenty steps to the building to pick up my entrance papers. Perfect for one, but I think it would also be lovely for a couple. Top Rating!!!

Ideal for a Mount Athos trip. Easy check in, responsive staff and well located.

✓ This was a stop off as I prepared to go for a visit to Mount Athos. The hotel is excellently placed for the visa office and the ferry dock - a perfect location. The town was much busier than I expected with other tourists so there was a great buzz to the place when I arrived making parking a bit tricky but a friendly word with the main car park attendant worked well :) A room that was perfectly fine - a balcony overlooking the water, great air-con and a number of places to walk to for a quick bit of breakfast before the ferry. Would certainly recommend for anyone looking for an easy and comfortable place to rest. I'd have been glad to stay for another night to explore the area as well.
