Only 700 metres away from the Planai Cable Car, Hotel Zirngast is located on the Enns River in Schladming and offers free WiFi and free private parking. The spa area can be used free of charge and includes a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, an infrared cabin, and an aromatic steam bath. All rooms are non-smoking and feature a safe, a work desk, a flat-screen cable TV, and a bathroom. Most have a balcony. A rich breakfast buffet is served each morning at the Zirngast Hotel. Half-board includes a 4-course dinner with a choice of dishes and a salad buffet. Guests of the Zirngast receive a 20% reduction on admission to Schladming’s public swimming pool, which is a 5-minute walk away. A ski school and many shops, restaurants and bars, including Austria’s largest après ski hut, are a 10-minute walk away. Hotel Zirngast offers free pick-up from the train station. The free ski bus stops right outside the hotel every 30 minutes. From late May to mid-October, the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts, including free use of local cable cars and buses.
