Large and Small Country House in Moratalla

A rural, peaceful place to stay.

✓ We were greeted by a lovely Spanish lady who was standing in for the host and she gave us the keys and showed us around the property, luckily my friend spoke some Spanish, so we coped okay! The property is quite rural, so is very quiet and peaceful with a lovely communal pool and space outside to sit and cook on the outdoor barbeque. It was very secure with an automatic gate at the entrance and plenty of parking. The property was one of 4, but there was good space for each. The 2 bed 'cottage' that we stayed in was basic but spacious. This would be an ideal place if you like cycling as the roads are so quiet and the mountainous scenery is awesome.

✗ Its difficult to find and we had to ask the host to send a 'drop pin' for the exact location. The address on Booking.com is the host's address in Moratalla, not the holiday cottage. The property did lack enough utensils and things like mugs and enough towels. We had to buy a lot of extra things so we could cook food etc. The beds weren't very comfortable, but that's a personal preference thing.
