Villa Gianna Amalfi coast

Beautiful location with the essentials you will need for a gorgeous stay on the Amalfi Coast!

✓ We LOVED the location! It was nice to be so close to Amalfi and yet not be IN it. The view from several rooms was gorgeous and it was truly close to the beach and public transportation. The ceilings are high and the rooms are so airy and spacious. It is just dreamy. If you are looking for where to park...it will probably be at the Belvedere Hotel in Cocha dei Marini for the valet who will take your car to another parking area. All the bus drivers seem to know this hotel as it is in front of a bus stop which is helpful and makes travel very easy. The host also suggested a water taxi that is about 150 stair steps from the accomodation. We used this to get to the Amalfi ferry and ride it to the island of Capri. It was about 5 Euros/person. The beach below is pebbled with stones and the water is clear...the restaurants (3 of them) a charming vibe for the area.

✗ I would have liked to know more about the parking situation prior to arrival (once we parked it was difficult to get the car back for travel...and for good reason! The roadway is tight and can become very congested) The unit was equipped with enough bedding for all of us (6 persons in all) but we only had a few towels for the bathrooms. Also, there was no WiFi. I read reviews from people who said that the WiFi was poor, but I didn't realize that there was NO WiFi. Normally, this would have been okay, but one of our travelers was taking and online course and needed the connection to access information.
