THIS PLACE DIDNT EXISIT! I had to find another place to stay...
✓ There was a hotel close by which had a vacancy for the length of my stay and I was able to check in there - at more than twice what I thought I'd be paying at El piso de pao. I guess that was something to 'like'?
✗ I was turned away. I had received both confirmation AND reminders of my booking but when i arrived at the address no one knew anything about renting rooms - and forget breakfast! I guess they were no longer in business but surely Booking.Com should check? A stay here would've been very cheap but I was not put off, as a budget traveller I can tolerate quite a lot in order to save money for another trip but bookings MUST be reliable, even if not five star. I was able to check into another place but at more than twice the price. Needless to say I was very annoyed...
