Very good
✓ The location is amazing, walking distance to everything. In a great and safe neighbourhood. The rooms are tiy, but it is very clean. Very helpful staff. They have also bigger rooms with private bathroom and small balcony.
✗ During the first two nights, my single room was next to the elevator. It was impossible to sleep, since it is an old type of elevator that makes huge noise. The rooms are tiny. Also, the room doors are so thin, if someone is talking in the hall you hear everything from everywhere. For the next two nights, they changed my room and it was much better. Also, the windows do open, however, they face the inner building.

Whilst I booked very last minute and most hotels were full, I had a wonderful short stay at Felipe 2
✓ Very friendly, dedicated and helpful staff. Clean & tidy !!! Actually all was Ok for me... Beautiful ancient elevator Balcony facing North-West looking along the "Av. DIAGONAL" was great for afternoon and all evening sun...
✗ At this time, September 2023, a new TRAM track is being constructed along the "Av. DIAGONAL" ! Due to these construction works, many, noisy busses need to stop at the traffic light below. 'Annoying if balcony doors are open... But got used to that in the end... Didnot notice anymore...

Pleasant and a great location but way overpriced.
✓ Hotel is in a great location about 10mins walk from the Sagrada Familia and a Metro nearby means the whole city is easy to reach. Staff are very friendly, especially the lady who was always happy to help. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked well.
✗ Hotel and room were very basic, I normally don’t care about this but not at these prices. As others have mentioned it can get noisy, my room was near reception so there was little chance of indulging in the Spanish custom of a midday siesta.

✗ The toilet is shared over an entire floor, room had no natural light, just a window to the inside of the building that unfortunately echoed a lot of noise from the other floors. No way to pay with card.

If you arrive after 22h you need to go to our central office Hostal Argo, open 24 hours and located just 3 minutes walking from Hostal Felipe. There you will have to do the register, pay the rest of your reservation and collect your keys.

Hi, yes it's possible to check out around midnight. There are towels in the rooms and hair dryer if you booked a room with private bathroom. If you book a room with shared bathroom you will have anyway a hair dryer in the commoun bathroom. Regards.
