✓ Staff were all very helpful though very busy. I am an older woman travelling alone with a dog and also prefer gluten free food. Everyone was patient without being patronising. The food was good, the staff were great, it felt safe, it was a good location from the ferry to Barcelona.

✗ Air con wasn’t working in the bedroom & it was v hot. I was on my own with a dog & there was nowhere to walk - apart from the car park. In the middle of nowhere. It was fine for one night.

✓ In the morning, the reception was staffed and the people there seemed pleasant.

✗ -Drunk people shouting under my window until 5.30a.m. so I had almost no sleep and had to cycle 80km the next day -Floodlights from a garage forecourt shining in the window - Room not as described (e.g. no patio), and when the confirmation came it listed every permutation and service possible, with the caveat that, it depends what's available. Photos misleading; this is at the back of a garage. It's a truckstop. - Bar staff could barely look at me, let alone say thank you. - Lighting by the bed did not work; toilet cistern dripped -Bitten by bed bugs -Views of trucks, floodlights and wind turbines The absolute worst place I've ever stayed in, and I use about 40 hotels each year.

✓ Location was very close to main route so very easy to reach. Car parking was excellent plenty of space for everyone. Nice outside tables and chairs.

✗ Restaurant opens late about 8:30 in the evening so we had to eat dinner very late and would have been easier for us to eat earlier. There were snacka and pastries available in the cafe/bar area.
