Beautiful location but please be aware of just how remote it is.
✓ It was a lovely size and in a beautiful place, it was also very quiet at night
✗ Mould on the bathroom tiles, a hole in the living room wall, no washing machine. Property is sold as a lovely pub in a quiet village - there is no village, the nearest shop is over 5 miles on a single track road, I think people should be made aware of this before they book.

Seathwaite is a stunning location, the accommodation is the perfect base for exploring the area.
✓ Beautiful location, with great fell walking routes, Broughton short drive away, has shops, superb butchers and pubs, Ulverston is a twenty minute drive away and has supermarkets etc. The Newstead Inn is a friendly old pub with loads of history.
✗ Double bed mattress was a nightmare for me, very springy, zero support, needs replacing.
