Comfortable and clean apartment in a great location

✓ Great and secure location, plenty of space and a nice comfortable flat. The lady who met us with the keys was lovely and the owner is easily contactable via phone.

✗ Air conditioning unit in the main living space wasn’t working, shower could do with a holder and curtain.

✗ Don't be fooled by 24 hour reception. This is a private apartment amongst other private apartments. There is no reception.Not even a street number that I could find near the entrance. Restaraunt next door found someone to let me in fortunately. Some basic problems. Your bath soap is a small bar previously well used. The sheets on double bed were stained. I found some half dry towels in the drier. Assume these were for me Booking says apartment takes credit card but said I had to pay in cash as machine broke though I suspect never takes anything other than cash. Meant I had to go and withdraw more money having just taken out enough for Tunisia stay

✓ very welcoming and appreciate their willingness wait for us till late midnight. Superb service from the cleaning lady - she’s so friendly. Loaction was good as well - easy to park the car & near to the city center & tram/train station.

Great place, would revisit

✓ Great central location. Our schedules changed last minute but the host was open to accommodate our new check in time, at 1 am! Smooth communication before arrival. We were able to pay in euros. The apartment is spacious and the four of us fit with no issues. It is on the second floor with no elevator. There are two separate toilets (only 1 was a bathtub) and a fully equipped kitchen. Strong wifi. A bolt from/to the the airport would cost around 16TND (around 5 euro). There is also a view to a nice small park from the balcony. The area is safe and close to it there are tons of restaurants and two supermarkets. There was a hair dryer. The host is a really friendly and welcoming guy, who checked with us to make sure everything is fine.

✗ There was only one roll of toilet paper, not enough for 4 people spending 5 nights. Moreover, there was no shampoo and bubble bath. Next to the sink, there were 3 tiny used soap bars, that we never touched. Lastly, we found a big cockroach in one of the bathrooms which we never reported to the host and decided to only use the one bathroom.

✓ Our host was really helpful! We arrived late at night and he was waiting for us. The apartment is in a great location, in a walking distance from Medina and also there are a lot of shops nearby. We recommend it!
