Be very careful before you book - you may not get the 1500 Euro security deposit back.
✗ The place is more or less as advertised, except there's no lake view. The lighting in the house is quite poor. However, be very careful of the 1500 Euro security deposit. The host claims we damaged a speaker cover. I told her we think it was damaged before we came, but as she's got the deposit there's nothing I can do. She says it costs c.1000 Euro to fix! She also says it just so happens that she can't get one speaker cover in the same colour, so she has to buy two new ones (using my money of course). Also, it just so happens that her insurance doesn't cover it. And it just so happens that it took a long time for her to clarify the damage, so she only returned what's left of our deposit long after the 2 weeks she was meant to return it. Is this a scam? Either way, be careful before booking and sending money.
