Beautiful property, gardens and location.

✓ Getting access to the house was easy. Hosts had left tea, coffee, milk etc for our use. Property was outstanding with all finishing top quality. Bed linen, beds, towels etc were all really good quality and very comfortable. All rooms were spotlessly clean and set out to perfection. En suite bathrooms were equally impressive and the gardens were beautiful. Although we did not use the hot tub, it was available with a log pile to get us started, had we wished to. There were six of us sharing and it accommodated us well and the cost per person working out at £52 per night, it was good value for such a quality house. Ideally located for us to visit family nearby and enjoy Lydney, Gloucester and attraction in the area. Highly recommended.

The little things done right

✓ I travel around the UK a lot for work and have been lucky enough to stay at this lodge. They have made so much effort into making this short term rental a ‘home from home.’ From the high quality kitchen and equipment to having some beers in the fridge to welcome you. The beds are really comfortable as is the open plan living space. After the initial 5 days, the owners asked to come in to change our sheets and carry out a clean which was done to a high standard…. They even left more beers on the side and a lovely note. From the lodge to the customer service, I couldn’t recommend this place high enough. Thank you so much for a memorable stay, if I am ever working in the area or needing a holiday, I will be checking to see if this place is free.”

Superb!

✓ Property was superb and fitted out to a very high standard. Each room had en-suite. Wood fired hot tub was awesome. Great location for our mountain biking trip.
