✓ self catering. Location was excellent. Property lovely, spacious and well equipped. very comfortable.
✗ Your administration is appalling. I have used Booking.com all over the world and have never had to complete so many checks and IDs just to go 30 miles from my home. Your site did not work properly on my computer or my son's phone which is much more modern and up to date than mine. Although we managed to supply photos etc eventually, we struggled to get all the information to you onto your site. Despite our money having been paid to you weeks before, we were threatened with emails saying we would be unable to complete booking (just 3 days prior to leaving). You then took my money for the apartment twice (over £900). I complained on our return and a very pleasant and helpful young lady in Customer services sorted out the refund for me. I insisted on waiting on the phone until she had found and confirmed my first payment which you had taken 4 weeks previously. This is not a company that I would want to deal with in the future and would avoid booking through you, if I was aware it was Residential Estates that owned the property.
