Absolutely great experience

✓ It was great! Tommy is the best guide to the city, the atmosphere is perfect. Don’t doubt to book this stay! It is a perfect way to get to know the city, and experience Rwanda at its best. I felt at home and safe from the first moment I got here.

✗ It might be a bit far, but for only 1 usd you get everywhere on moto

✓ Guests can look forward to a great nourishing breakfast in the mornings. Its a real bonus of this friendly guest house. Staff and management are always on hand to assist with any queries. The view at night is also great! Room had all I required including TV, iron and kettle

✓ The breakfast was great and was different for each day. filling and delicious. Tommy was so helpful with my logistics that I felt like a local going about town, so the location was good. I would stay there anytime I am in Kigali.

✓ Really lovely stay. The room was bright and comfy, with its own terrace. The owner Tommy and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. They lent me a SIM card and helped me with transport, as well as bringing me medicines and soup when I was feeling unwell. Breakfast was huge and tasty and there was a kitchen to order fresh hot food and cold drinks throughout the day.

✗ Location is a little far from centre but not really an issue as it's so easy to get a moto taxi.

Reconsider.

✓ The room is just a stock standard basic room, same as what you can find elsewhere in the city for roughly the same price. Nothing particularly good or bad about it, just the standard basic accommodation option.

✗ Staff speak no English, so it's impossible to get info or make requests (e.g. Breakfast options - you get whatever they decide you should get). It's quite a distance out of town without views, so not a particularly nice location. The owner loves to have conversations without much input from others, and has some particularly off putting ideas about life and the world... Perhaps that's your thing, but it wasn't for me. No mozzie net provided, and I was somewhat ridiculed for requesting a plug-in anti-mozzie machine, so perhaps customer requests are not a big deal here (it was finally made available to me, about 8hrs after requesting it, after I'd already killed a number of mosquitoes in the room). Basically you can get a better vibe and easier access closer to the city for the same price, I wouldn't bother with this option again.
