✓ A warm and sincere welcome from the owners. All facilities were as stated and in good working order. Mosquito nets were available and an extra mattress was provided for an unexpected arrival of an extra person in our party. The lighting, aircon, fans and all equipment were top notch.

Fabulous
✓ Anandam was a sprawling house with a green front yard with variety of trees. We recently stayed there during our Vaikom trip and excellent location with proximity to the Mahadevan temple. Home is nicely done and is both modern with all the amenities and has a nice traditional decor as well. Host was gracious to guide us to cabs and backwater boating trip. Breakfast was also arranged - we ended up ordering it for one person just the previous night for the next morning at 6 am and they still managed to provide us idli and accommodated our request but good to order in advance to enjoy the full spread.. Host was kind enough and offered us to stay for extended time as well and that was very helpful. Overall lovely place to stay and I would definitely recommend.WiFi was good and we were able to connect as well with ease. Some negatives are they following - Hot water was not available across all the three rest rooms when using concurrently, but wasn’t that much needed in Kerala, so we managed. One word of caution with cab rides in general is to note the meter or reset the meter to ‘0’ before stepping in We missed doing that and ours ended up being at least around 40% more than what google maps showed and were told that it was normal which I am true is acceptable as cabs the other days were pretty close to what google maps showed. overall good stay and will definitely recommend staying there.
