Overall, I was satisfied with my nine-day stay.
✓ Breakfast is very rich. There are several MRT entrances in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Crossing the main road is Ximending. The rooms on the second floor have poor soundproofing and can be a bit noisy.

Good value for money stay
✓ - breakfast buffet from 7-10am - very good deal (have asian and western food) - prime location - very near to Ximending shopping street - water pressure in the shower is very strong - toilet comes with a seat warmer - very close to Taipei Main Station also (approx 4 mins drive or 12 mins walk)
✗ - lift is a little slow (need to wait for it)

A good budget option in a great area of the city
✓ Great location, reasonably priced, the room was comfortable and spacious with a nice city view. Breakfast was good, including several vegetarian options. Staff generally friendly.
✗ Cleaning of rooms wasn’t very thorough, stayed for 6 nights and each day they forgot to do something (eg empty rubbish bin, clean mugs), then on one day I dropped something, as I was on the floor looking for it I noticed old slippers and other ‘rubbish’ under the bed which means it probably doesn’t get a thorough clean too often. Sheets and towels were fine though.

In general a comfortable stay at this hotel.
✓ Breakfast could be much better if there are more varieties and choices. For 5 straight days I ate same foods daily. Location is great and easy to find which is steps away from ximen station. Reception staff very courteous and friendly and offered assistance on how to get around directions to places of interest. Service staff at the cafeteria also applause for their meticulous wonderful job well done.
✗ Room a bit small and no wardrobe. At least could provide a proper cloth hanger.

Great value for money.
✓ Convenient location less than 10mins walk to Taipei famous Ximending shopping street. Room and the bath is clean. Breakfast buffet spread is beyond expectation. Dine with comfort in a big hall and lots of food to choose from. Will stay again on our next visit to Taipei.
