Exceptional service from the excellent staff at Torre Barbara

✓ Location, wonderful scenic views; friendly, helpful staff; delicious food, a great selection at breakfast - we especially enjoyed the freshly cooked omelettes.

✗ The only slight drawback is the location on a very busy road which made it difficult to cross the road even when alighting from the shuttle bus.

✓ Fabulous customer service! Amazing views across the water to Napoli and Mount Vesuvius! Central to all things on the Amalfi coast and a quieter more relaxed option to the hustle and bustle of Sorrento and main touristy areas!

✗ Frequency of the shuttle bus could be increased to support morning activities and a route to/from Sorrento.

✗ In the end, it is not a 5-star hotel so I can understand some limitations like they didn't offer water for free....

Staff made up for the disappointing rooms also the daily break was great.

✓ The staff were extremely friendly and service was good. The patio restaurant bar has beautiful views

✗ The beds are very uncomfortable, rooms are basic. Booking.com shows rooms with terrace and ocean views this is not accurate. We booked ocean view and had a room with a small cubby hole window in the bathroom and we were told this is ocean view.

A wonderful place to stay.

✓ The hotel was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Sorrento. Everything was so good. We loved our stay here so much!

✗ Location is a little challenging, but once you figure out the shuttle and trains it gets easier. That would be my only thing that was an issue at first.
