Fantacstic Hotel in a Fabulous Location

✓ The choice of food available for breakfest was exceptional plus with the staff were very attentive to our requests, our room was on the fourth floor complete with a balcony to enable us to sit and admire the sea front and had everything you could wish for to make our stay memorable. Finally the location of the hotel we found ideal, right in the centre of Viareggio, right opposite the seashore and only five minutes walk away. Fantastic

A very very very beautiful hotel !!!!

✓ The hotel is very very very beautiful. With a nice swimming pool and a lot of sunbeds. Many beautiful gardens with seats for relax. The breakfast is really one of the best in Europe, many high quality and ‘power’ food, fruits even has cherries, peach, and passion fruit, yoghurts has greek yoghurt too, nuts include pecan, hazelnuts, white sesame…. Has almond or oat milk…. Pastry are ‘heated’, crispy and really tasty!!! …. Fresh Honey comb… and of course cheese, ham and, hot food… enjoyed the breakfast very much every day. The aperitif with tasty small bites at hotel bar and outdoor garden before dinner is a highlight too. And the hotel has partner for discount at a private beach opposite hotel…. If you want to go Puccini opera festival, this hotel is perfect too, reception helped book the opera coach to and fro, just euro 20, and the coach stop is just outside hotel!

✗ The hotel room is clean but some items a bit old and needs to be fixed. However, I still love the hotel very much and would go back!

Nearly perfect

✓ A great location, right on the beachfront. No cost upgrade to a double room. A real grand hotel in the classic style.

✗ The pool area is large but dominated by families with small children, diving and jumping into the pool despite the signs saying not to. Difficult to swim properly and impossible to relax.

Amazing and magical Italian experience?

✓ Thé location was amazing, just right across from the beach and bus stop to pisa or other cities. The staff was exceptional - from lucca at breakfast to Paolo at the front desk, they were all incredible kind and accommodating. They really made the stay exceptional. This hotel is like walking back into time into an Italian land. It is wonderful! The pool and garden are lovely and breakfast was amazing.

✗ The AC in our room didn’t work, we beared through it until the last night when we realised it actually was broken and it was too late :(

The staff was very nice and very welcoming. Service was excellent and the pool is nice and quiet.
