A 3-minute drive from the centre of Ilford, McCafferty's Guesthouse provides comfortable rooms and an Irish bar with live entertainment at the weekends and a restaurant serving traditional home-cooked food.

✓ The hotel rooms are above a very busy pub, but we were not disturbed at all by any noise from below. The room itself was large and comfortable, with a nice ensuite bathroom. We had no complaints at all, and I would happily recommend this place.
✗ This is not a problem more of an observation. I always look for parking when booking, but only got notified after payment and confirmation, that this would be on a public car park, opposite the hotel. More my own fault for not checking properly.
✓ Staff were great
✗ Very noises when music is on downstairs
✓ The whole experience was excellent. The room was clean, tidy, and well equipped, with lots of little additional personal touches. The bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed a good night's sleep. There was also an excellent selection of teas and coffee. Overall a great stay after a great night out with friends
✗ The only negative I had with my room was the shower. It had a faulty power button, and the water pressure could've been better. However, when working, it was adequate for my needs.
✓ Nice size room good facilities. Sheets a little stained but clean
✗ Property was good location on a busy high street above a busy pub.
✓ The location is good with parking across the road (free on weekends). Staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The pub was good with live music and very good Guinness
✗ If you are staying on the weekend and you want it very quiet, then it probably isn't the place for you.
✓ Good
✗ The fee should be a little lesser.
✓ close to station
✗ Breakfast not included, room TV did not work.
✓ Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly people and a great pub downstairs. Easy to get to by train.
✗ The shower in our twin room was a bit weird, it had to be turned on by a switch and took me some time to find out.
We are approx 40mins by train from the O2 Arena. Seven Kings train station is an approx 3 minute walk from the Guesthouse, you take one train to Stratford, change trains. Get off at North Greenwich and it is a 3 minute walk to Peninsula Square SE10
