Very happy with the choice I made

✓ The staff were very helpful nothing was to much trouble for them. I asked for a change of room and it wasn't a problem. You couldn't have a better central location.

Lovely

✓ I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of 3 nights here. When I first arrived, I wasn't too sure. The entrance from outside looked quite small, and the reception area is also small. However, once I got to my room, I was so happy I didn't want to leave. It helped that they had a fruit basket and chocolates waiting for me! The decor of the room & shower room is simple, modern with clean lines. I loved the ample storage, the blackout blinds, the shower room (amazing water pressure) and appreciated the kettle for teas and coffees... The location of the hotel is ideal - about 5 minutes walk to Las Canteras beach (I could just about make it out from my 3rd floor room) and all the restaurants on the promenade. There's a mini-mart right next door that sells just about everything (including a travel adapter). There are some tourist attractions nearby and the lovely less-built up old town is a short bus ride away. Breakfast- included in my fare was also really good - a very wide spread of meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh bread and fresh juice - enjoyed on the sunny veranda of the in-house restaurant, Muxgo.

✗ I would have liked to be able to cast from my phone to the TV. The TV had this feature, but it had been deactivated. The bathroom was very clean, but for some mildew stains that should be easy to get rid of :)

Nice modern hotel with rather poor staff and service

✓ The room was very nice and comfortable, located near Parque Santa Catalina, close to shops, restaurants and beach. It was quiet and equipped with a small fridge which was nice. Also, you get two bottles of water when you arrive and there is a kettle and some tea.

✗ The staff was rather incompetent, I had to wait three days for them to prepare one invoice (as it was business trip, company data had to be added). Actually, they didn't prepare it correctly even after two attempts and many reception visits. The breakfast in a café nearby is a joke, every day the same - you can just have a yogurt or plain croissant, small glass of juice, a bagel or salty croissant, one coffee (but not the special one, just basic offer) one small cookie and that is it. For the price of the hotel it sounds not reasonable and we didn't enjoy it at all. In the future, breakfast should be directly in the hotel which might be good. Cleaning was quite good, but once the cleaning lady set the air conditioning of the room to the minimum so it was very cold when I came back. Overall, I expected better experience and the service does need enhancing. Actually, I am not sure if I would come back to stay here.
