A re-visit !

✓ The property location was great in city centre near the markets, souks , shops, restaurants and cabs. Really easy to navigate. The house it self is really beautiful , true to pictures the architecture is honestly amazing . Everything was clean and comfortable. Great amenities too . The host and her family were absolutely amazing , kind , friendly , accommodating and responsive . Any questions we had were answered right away. We even had a late arrival and was offered to have food picked up for us which was one of the many things we greatly appreciated. They also offered day trips at a much cheaper and affordable price in comparison to the expensive travel agency’s so we were able to get a lot done at a much more reasonable price . Overall we had one of the best stays and will definitely have to come back to Tunis again could thank them enough .

✓ Raja and her son, Youssef, were incredibly accommodating. The apartment was in immaculate condition. On our first night, we had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious home-cooked meal from a local restaurant recommended by Raja, which was delivered right to our door. Raja even arranged for Youssef to drive us to three different cities. We had the luxury of enjoying the pool, ensuite bathrooms, and relaxing on the beautiful swinging chairs while sipping on Arabic coffee. Raja is multilingual, fluent in Arabic, French, and English, and she has a great sense of humour. She’s also very responsive to calls and texts.

Lovely property in a very non-tourist area

✓ A beautiful property with three bedrooms arranged round a courtyard with a wonderful hot water pool. The kitchen was well equipped, and the dining seating area was adequate, albeit the table a bit low for eating on. Host Raja was extremely friendly and helpful, and arranged for restaurant food to be delivered to the property in the evening. She also undertook a quick guided tour of the local area on arrival, and regularly messaged to check that everything was OK. This property provides you with an opportunity to stay in an Arabic-style home mixing with regular Tunisians if you prefer this style of travel to being exclusively around tourists.

✗ Wi-fi could be unreliable. The location, down a side-street, is a bit of a trek to the Grand Medina and other sights, necessitating braving the rather manic fresh produce and meat souk to get to a taxi. Fine for seasoned travellers or people staying for a week, but first-time visitors to a North African country might initially find it intimidating, particularly at night. Easy to get taxis from near the souk. but you have to take a taxi back to a street near the Mosque as it is impossible to drive any closer to the apartment.

✓ Beautiful house, recently renewed, open in the middle. Comfortable, with a lot of light. Very warm welcome from the family whom has also been helpful ans supporting during our stay

Wonderful, calm oasis in the Medina

✓ This is the perfect oasis if you visit Tunis! The place is very beautiful and thoughtful furnished and designed! The family that hosts this place is very hospitable and we felt welcomed all the time. We will come back for sure!
