Just 200 metres from Frankfurt Central Station, this modern hostel is centrally situated in the city’s red light district. The Five Elements Hostel offers free WiFi and provides a great base for exploring Frankfurt.

✗ The area around where the hostel is
✓ Location was easily accessible from central station (about a 11 minute walk). It is also close to other public transport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It helps that the reception is open around the clock.
✗ Wish there more showers on the floor. The hostel is in the red light area, but they warn you about this right after the booking.
✓ Central location easy to connect with all public transport and walking distance to city center. The apartment was a nice size and nicely equipped
✗ The neighborhood is quite dirty and surrounded by homeless and drug/drunk people, nothing again them but is uncomfortable and felt a bit unsafe to walk there
✓ Rooms were spacious, good value and amenities were clean and satisfactory. Staff were friendly and organised small activities in the evenings. The bar and common areas were a great to socialise with fellow travellers.
✗ Beds felt a little wobbly, especially for the top bunk. Just as everyone else has mentioned, be prepared for the location the hostel is situated in - although it is quite conveniently located to the train station.
✓ Location
✗ Price a bit Exp
✓ The staff was excellent and facilities were good too
✗ The bedding area and cleanliness wasnt up to standards And area surroundings were pathetic there were all junkies living near by it was horrifying
✓ The staff was nice. Free luggage storage.
✗ The pillow is flat. There were two toilets, but one, the light is not working.
✗ When you book and go to the reception you are asked for 4 euros he says it is a tax for everyone in the city And I booked elsewhere and only paid a night at Hostel
Hi! Yes, there is and the difference is explained in the category name, one is for females and the other for both female and male. Best regards Fabian
Yes we do ;)
Our official check-in time is 4pm so we cannot promise that it will be possible to check-in before this time. The best is to ask the reception when you arrive, because we will check you in if the room is ready :)
The fastest & cheapest transport from the international airport to us is with the SBahn train (S8 & S9). You need to catch the trains with direction city center and get out at the main train station (Hauptbahnhof in german). Ride will take apx 15min
Hi! Unfortunately for the 6 bed dorms, the bathrooms will be shared bathrooms in the hallway. Best regards Fabian
Hello, as our reception is open 24 hours it is no problem if you arrive later in the evening/night. There is always someone here to check you in. If you have any more questions, just write us, we are happy to help. Kind regards
