Clean and friendly hotel, close to the water and the harbour
✓ Good location, close to the harbour and with a nice view on the dyke and the harbour. Parking in front of the hotel. Not close to the city center of Cuxhaven, but that is only 15 minutes walk and the city center is not overly interesting. People go to Cuxhaven for the water and this hotel is on the shore. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful
✗ The building itself is a bit unassuming, but that is not so important for me.

Very good
✓ The property has been renovated since my last visit. My room appeared to have never been used before. The breakfast was better than I have experienced in supposed 5 star hotels.

awesome experience
✓ I arrived the hotel at late Sunday afternoon (4.12.2022). I was welcomed at the reception with a wide smile and accepted a room card. Since I didn't reserve dinner beforehand, I thought of finding a restaurant bar outside, yet it was already cold and dark. The lady at the reception told me that she will do her best to arrange some room in the hotel restaurant. luckily she did and I had a wonderful dinner in a very quiet and cozy room (you can see the chef cooking). **Since my luggage was lost by the flight company at Bremen, I relaid on this hotel as a temporary address, to help me with the delivery of my baggage from its whereabouts. All though I had to leave for Helgoland for the rest of the week (and my bag didn't arrive yet), the hotel crew still helped me for the next 4 days -remotely (the flight company did not contact me- only the hotel) until I got it back. A million thanks, rest assured I will visit this hotel once more, this time with my friends.

Can’t wait to come back & explore the area before settling in back at a wonderful place
✓ staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. Great location, breakfast is fantastic, wonderful spa bag packed with towels & slippers for the in-house spa area.
✗ Single room was a bit outdated, didn’t match the rest of the beautiful decor.

Everything is fine but too expensive
✓ Nice and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Parking directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast ok. Good view directly to „Alte Liebe“
✗ Building is not very nice and cosy and price-service-relation is bad.
