✓ Regarding the location, it's close to the train station and many restaurants so it's very convenient. About the equipment: - Very clean room and comfortable bed - The onsen is very clean and big - The swimming pool with view, the sauna and the bar in the other building is very pleasant at the end of the day. I really enjoyed it~ A special word for the front desk staff: I thank from the bottom of my heart the girls who received me on September 5 evening and 6 in the morning and helped me recover my iPhone that I had forgotten on a Kamenoi line bus. If you had not write me the right words on a piece of paper in Japanese, or if you had not contacted the Kamenoi office, my stay would have been different. Thank you again for the welcome and your precious help. See you next time maybe, cuz thanks to you, I'll choose this hotel for sure ;)

✗ Only one problem, the wifi is not stable in the evening. Other people seems to also complain about it. Fix it and you guys will be awesome~~

✓ There are public swimming pools and hot springs, the night view is good, free yukata can choose a variety of colors, provide free makeup remover oil, facial cleanser, lotion, razor and makeup remover cotton and so on

✓ Stayed the night before at the main building next door, which is also where the facilities are. I love both onsen and rotenburo, as well as the rooftop pool, one of the best views from a pool I‘ve had in all of japan. The room in the inn was actually better than the one in the main building, albeit smaller. I had a corner room with windows all around, giving me a broad view

✗ The glass panes infront of the rotenburo were incredibly dirty though, pretty much blocking an otherwise beautiful view. A bit unfortunate, doesnt seem to hard to clean either. And the gym was very lacking, I dont encourage going there. Not even alcohol wipes to disinfect after use.

Heavenly Rooftop Pool and Onsen!

✓ The rooftop pool and onsen are absolutely amazing!!! The staff is really nice. Location, just beside the train station is extremely practical. Rooms are simple, yet functional.

✗ Shower in the room is quite basic, but a small detail compared to everything the hotel has to offer!

Comfort in Elegance

✓ Liked the location and total concept of the hotel. It was rich with an architectural design, simple and elegant, that gave the feeling of open spaces. Breakfast was great with abundant refills. Also used and loved the Onsen on the 14th floor, rooftop pool, gym and laundromat. My room was designed very well with an acute detail for maximizing space. From the little seat and table to the frig. Even my hot pot heater was beautifully selected. It was copper with a long spout, great for making my coffee.

✗ Can't say here, there weren't anything I didn't like.

One of the best gem of Beppu

Exceptional

✓ The room was clean, and within walking distance (2 blocks away) from Beppu Station. The public bath was in the next building (just a couple of steps away), and spacious.

✗ The room is small, but that's to be expected for budget accommodation in Japan.
